NGLC burn coordinator, Doug Whisenhunt, and landowners from the Central Platte Rangeland Alliance (CPRA) are hard at work this spring in the battle against eastern redcedar. The CPRA kicked off the 2022 prescribed burn season in early March with an extremely effective eastern redcedar reclamation burn. Covering 2,500 acres, the effort removed 85% of invasive eastern redcedar on the unit, a remarkably successful outcome.
