published: Friday, December 30, 2022
The Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition recently teamed up with South Dakota Grassland Coalition and South Dakota Farm Bureau to host Elaine Froese at the “Finding Fairness in Farm and Ranch Transition, tools to talk about tough issues” workshop. These workshops took place over three days with the first day beginning in Norfolk, Nebraska, followed by two stops in South Dakota.
Froese is an award-winning author, columnist and frequent television guest who has helped farm families better communicate their expectations and timelines for the successful transition of their farm business. She specializes in conflict resolution and coaching farm families how to talk about tough issues.
“This was such an exciting opportunity for the Nebraska Grazing Lands Coalition to collaborate with South Dakota Grassland Coalition and Farm Bureau to bring Froese to our area,” said Angela Redman, NGLC Assistant Coordinator. “Succession planning is a difficult subject, but she is an expert and shared some great information.”
This event was made possible in Nebraska by the National Institute for Food and Agricultural grant. For upcoming events or more information on generational transition visit our website at www.nebraskagrazinglands.org
