Grazing Cover Crops Project

The last three years, using Nebraska Environmental Trust (NET) grant funds, the NGLC has been involved with a grazing cover crop project on row crop acres. In short, 8 private land owners across Nebraska agreed to graze cover crops on row crop acres and provide assistance in sampling soil and forages for various data collection.

Incorporating annual forages and grazed cover crops into crop/livestock systems.
